JERUSALEM (Reuters) – Israeli police detained five women activists on Thursday at the Western Wall, one of Judaism’s most sacred sites, for wearing prayer shawls, which Orthodox tradition sees as solely for men, a spokesman said.
The incident occurred during a monthly prayer session by the Women of the Wall, a group opposed to police-enforced Orthodox controls at the Jerusalem holy site, where worshippers are segregated by sex in accordance with strict Jewish tradition.
“Police detained for questioning five women who prayed with religious garments at the Wall … and an ultra-Orthodox man who burnt a book belonging to the Women of the Wall,” police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said.

Alright, so this would defantly be what’s considered a non-profit organization – however I need to do fundraising and start-up funds, of which I have very little to none. So anyway, for those who’d like to put something down as giving to charity for your taxes, donating towards a good cause.
Some things your donations would be going to help pay for:
A better blog theme
A website with an official domain name (www.ADTAg.com)
I would like at some point to buy or rent office space, or to buy a church in which I’ll be able to do things like offer help to the homeless, women in need of help (such as those who need to get to an abortion clinic), to teach healthy sex education, have free condoms available, fundraising to purchase or gather food for food pantries, clothes, toy-drives, supplies for those with children, help people to get jobs, put together resumes, just overall help the community in general, as well as educate, accept and teach people about different ideologies – such as get-togethers of people of different sorts sharing about their beliefs, and working on events.
Okay, so for all those following or just tuning in, I’d like to do something to help us to better understand each other and our ideologies and how we came to where we stand now. So I would like it if followers would take some time to write down and tell us their Ideological life’s journey, your stories will be posted/re-blogged onto this blog for everyone to read and to better understand the view points of others and that we are indeed (more or less) all human and all have lives, parents, family, friends and other people who contribute to who and what we are.
So here’s the basics:
- Write about your religious/ideological life journey.
- Feel free to add pictures, links, whatever.
- It will be posted for all to see & read.
If you are interested in doing this, please choose to “like” this or simply add your story in comments if you wish and I’ll copy/paste it into a Post with a link to your profile or just your name (that you’d like to use) if you’d like.
Good luck, have fun and happy sharing!
